Modular foi uma instalação site specific produzida durante e para a ocupação e exposição artística que aconteceu no antigo complexo hospitalar do Instituto da Laringe em São Paulo, no ano de 2015. 

 

Com a eminente demolição dos edifícios do complexo que formavam o antigo Instituto da Laringe, no bairro da Vila Mariana, região que sofre já a alguns anos com grande fluxo de especulação imobiliária, se desenvolveu a ocupação artística na qual esta instalação site specific foi realizada.

 

A partir da remoção e reorganização espacial de partes de três dos edifícios que pertenciam ao complexo hospitalar, foram construídas três obras, cada qual recebendo elementos formadores referentes a cada edificação das quais estes elementos foram retirados.

Modular was a site-specific installation produced during and for the occupation and artistic exhibition that took place in the old hospital complex of the Institute of the Larynx in São Paulo in the year 2015. 

 

With the imminent demolition of the buildings of the complex that formed the former Institute of the Larynx, in the neighborhood of Vila Mariana, a region that suffered a few years ago with a great flow of real estate speculation, the artistic occupation in which this site specific installation was carried out was developed.

 

From the removal and spatial reorganization of parts of three of the buildings that belonged to the hospital complex, three works were constructed, each one receiving formative elements referring to each building from which these elements were removed.
